by Ryu_C@RakuRakuJP

Are there cat islands in Japan that you must go to?

When you travel to Japan next time, how will you decide which city to go to? What kind of itinerary will you plan? If you also like cats, have you ever thought about going to different cat islands to visit cats, so that cats can bring you a completely different new experience for your Japan travel vacation?

As a country that likes cats very much, Japan is also an island country with a very developed fishery. Especially some small islands far away from the city, and because many local residents choose to leave the small island where they originally lived and live in a big city. Therefore, there are often "more cats than people" in these small islands, and gradually become a tourist attraction.

If you also have the opportunity to visit these cat islands, you can also spend a whole day visiting cats. However, during your visit to these cat islands, don't forget to follow the local rules to avoid damaging the relationship between cats and local islanders.

Tokyo Cat Island – Enoshima

If you want to say a cat island with the most convenient transportation and the easiest to visit, it should be the one on the Shonan coast of Tokyo.Enoshima. Because starting from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo, it only takes about 1 hour to take the Odakyu Electric Railway to reach Enoshima. It is very suitable for arranging a day trip to Enoshima to visit cats, and you can also leave at the same timeKamakuraIt is a very suitable place to visit during the holidays.

Of course, compared to other cat islands far away from the city, the number of cats in Enoshima is not very large, only about a dozen or so. So if you plan to travel to Enoshima specifically to visit cats, you may need a little luck to meet cats, and you must be mentally prepared that you will not see a cat.

Shikoku Cat Island – Aoshima

Some people have said that if you want to visit cats in Qingdao successfully, everything depends on your fate with cats. Because starting from JR Matsuyama Station in Ehime Prefecture, it will take you about 2 hours to take the JR train and high-speed boat to reach Qingdao smoothly. As long as you miss the JR train in the morning, or if the weather is not suitable for taking the high-speed boat, you will have no way to visit the cat.

So if you succeed in visiting cats in Qingdao in the end, you must make good use of the time you spend with cats. Because no one can guarantee that the next time you visit Ehime Prefecture, you will be able to visit Cat Island successfully to visit cats.
